Instagram post 2198147255306040008_6210041658 Since it's the #seasonofgiving, I thought I'd share a bonus blog post: 5 Foolproof Ways to Free Up More Time as a Freelancer. Regardless of what industry your freelance business is in, freelancing is A LOT of work. In addition to completing client projects, you have to manage the day-to-day operations and juggle things like admin, marketing, and your own content creation. With so much to do, it can definitely feel like there aren't enough hours in the day. Luckily, there are some ways to free up time so you can focus on the important, money-making aspects of your business. Get the scoop here using the link in my bio and feel free to leave a comment with any productivity hacks you swear by too!
Instagram post 2196753628243695850_6210041658 With the holidays rapidly approaching, you’ve probably got quite a bit on your plate but now is the time to start preparing your freelance business for the new year. Taking time to prep your freelance business now not only starts 2020 off right, but will also help to set your business up for success and minimize your post-holiday stress. Plus, you’ll be able to focus more time and energy on the profitable parts of your business rather than juggling behind the scenes tasks with the money-making ones. What's not to love about that?! Check out my latest blog post to find out how you can prepare your freelance business for the new year.
Instagram post 2195369322879540052_6210041658 It's another snowy day here in Minnesota and I couldn't be happier to work from home! ❄️❄️❄️ What's the weather like where you live? Are you a fan of winter or already counting the days until spring?
Instagram post 2187296012161533370_6210041658 Wishing you a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter, and of course, super delicious food! 🥧
Instagram post 2184606915622301256_6210041658 I couldn't hold out any longer; I just HAD to decorate for Christmas! In my defense though, Thanksgiving was late this year! This is our first year with an actual Christmas tree, so it made me that much more excited to decorate. 🎄 I was a little nervous about how the cats would react but judging by Boomers nonchalant attitude we might be okay. 🤞🏻 Got any tips for dealing with cats and Christmas trees, just in case? Let me know!
Instagram post 2181474477584912825_6210041658 Did you know I've been freelance writing for two years, and a full-time freelance writer for an entire year? Time sure does fly! 🎉 Like most freelancers just starting out, I struggled to find good, long-term clients. My workload (and income!) were always fluctuating and I found myself stressed AF. I knew something had to change. I reevaluated what I was doing - where I was looking for clients, what I was charging, what kind of projects I agreed to...you name it. I realized I needed to not only find BETTER clients but to try to convert them from a short-term project to a long-term client. So how did I do that? 🤔 It's all about the client experience, my friends! Providing a positive client experience from start to finish not only makes you look professional but increases the chance the client will hire you again—or better yet, purchase a monthly service package. With that in mind, today's blog post is all about how to impress a freelance client and keep them coming back for more. Get the scoop using the link in my bio! 🔗
